Kantemo "The Cave of blind life" tour includes A/C transportation, entrance to the cave to observe the underground life, bicycle tour through the jungle, camping, dinner, midnight canoeing and breakfast.

National Geographic has made a documental about an important phenomena of some organisms to adapt for life in total darkness conditions; shrimp, fish, eels and a few other organisms had adapted to live under this situation, however it is very remarkable the Central America rat eater snakes (Elaphe flavirufa) capacity to develop the skill to adapt here.

Other wise a common snake found widely in Central America, it is not aggressive, nor poisonous, but in the Kantemo cave, also known as The Cave of the hanging snakes, has developed the skill to hang themselves from the walls and the roof to hunt the bats that exit at dusk to go find their food.

This is the main purpose of the trip, to witness the feeding habits of this beautiful animal just a few inches in front of us, the cave is rather easy, although there are areas which are not more than four feet high; it is not suitable for asthmatics, claustrophobics, or very nervous people.

After the cave we will test our skills and control in a nocturnal bicycle ride through the jungle towards a lagoon where we will do a crocodile spotting trip. Afterwards dinner will be served in front of the camp fire before going to sleep, we provide large tents, cotton sheets and air mattresses for maximum comfort, also dry ecologic sanitary facilities are available.

There is an optional hotel with additional charge for those who are not interested in the lagoon and are not willing to camp.

Nuevo Durango caves tour includes A/C transportation, bird watching tour in the jungle, two caves, rapel, all the related gear, expert guides, and lunch.

This Mayan community offers the visit to two most interesting caves, in the roof and floor are appreciated different formations, stalactites and stalagmites, the first one is very easy to access after a trek in the jungle and the visit to an interesting insect museum, the second one offers a greater degree of difficulty.

Always under the surveillance of the instructor and guide, we rappel in to the second cave for a rather difficult to describe view, I can tell you about the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites that can be observed, but I can not find words to describe its beauty and the emotion of looking at this marvellous and fragile site, so easy to miss by the visitors that can not even imagine what is underground in Yucatan!

All the related gear is provided to perform the activity with the maximum degree of safety and quality with trained and certified personnel.

Whale shark's tour includes A/C transportation, boat ride, and observation of the marine life, snorkel gear, and lunch.

The main purpose of this activity is the observation of these marvellous creatures (Rhincodon typus), it is the largest of all sharks and the largest fish in the ocean, the whale shark is one of the most dramatic views in the ocean.

It feeds mainly from plankton, and banks of small fish and squid, sometimes are seen in groups feeding in big patches of food.

They appear seasonally in the same places in specific moments of the year, probably to capitalize the blossom of plankton patches or events like some species spawning. These sharks had become a central feature of the eco touring industry in some parts of the world, especially in the Australian west coast, where people take the opportunity to swim with these peaceful giants.

They are found mainly in warm water and tropical seas except of the Mediterranean. They are mainly a migrating species.

Price per person: $220
